A. Gustafson has studied creative writing, editing for authors and taken the Write Your Novel Course through the AWC. A passionate fantasy writer, A. Gustafson is devoted to writing stories about people pushed to their limits, with diverse casts and characters that break our stereotypes of what it means to be strong.
Her unpublished, completed manuscript “Call of the Gods” was Shortlisted in the Page Turner 2021 Writing Award and was the Runner Up in the Science Fiction/Fantasy Category of the Book Pipeline Contest.
She grew up in the Canadian mountains and spent most of her time outdoors with her family. This incredible setting inspires her writing today and she endeavours to capture that feeling of the vast wilderness in her writing.
Her favourite fantasy books are: The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb, A Darker Shade of Magic Trilogy by V.E Schwab, and The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.
